What Does Your Season Look Like?

Your journey with SKY begins in November with our official SKY Evaluations. By early December, teams are finalized and you'll be added to your TeamSnap group for easy communication and scheduling.

We kick off the season with SKY Launch, our annual celebration held in early December. Around this time, each Head Coach typically hosts a team meeting to outline expectations, build team spirit, and give athletes and parents a chance to connect. If you'd like, a SKY Board member can join this first gathering to offer support and answer questions.

Starting in January, regular team practices begin—twice a week—alongside the launch of tournaments and games. The season builds momentum through the winter and spring, culminating in Provincials around April or May. Some teams may advance to Nationals, extending the excitement into late May or June.

To wrap things up, SKY hosts a year-end celebration, a fantastic way to honor the season’s achievements. Many teams also organize their own parties to mark the end of a great run.

And then? You’ve earned it—take a breather, soak up the summer, and get ready to do it all again next season!
